West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS® recognizes the importance of protecting our members’ personal information. For that reason, we have implemented the following privacy policy:

  1. We gather the following types of information to process your transactions, fulfill your requests, maintain our membership records, provide other services to Members, and to analyze the traffic to our website and the needs/makeup of our Members:
  • Contact Information you provide (which includes but is not limited to the information you provide on the Membership Application, i.e., your personal and business addresses, phone numbers, email, firm affiliations, and titles.
  • Volunteered Information: From applications, correspondence, orders, purchases, voice mail, or surveys.
  • Third-Party Information: Additional information from other sources.

2. We use this information to:

  • Enhance communications tools (e.g., MLS Breakfast Meetings, Education classes, Special Events, Quarterly Connection Newsletters).
  • Notify you about website updates, upcoming relevant events and programs, legislation, court decisions, relevant products, and services.
  • Manage services, transactions, and member information.
  • Track website usage and provide directory information to the public.
  1. Legal Compliance:Members recognize and acknowledge that, as a non-for-profit entity, West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS®, is not a "business" as defined by the California Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).  By participating in any aspect of West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS®, Members agree and acknowledge that they do not hold rights under these laws vis-à-vis West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS®, including with respect to the maintenance and deletion of personal data and information contained in or used by West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS®.
  1. Information Sharing:
  • No selling or trading of personal information.
  • Sharing with third parties only to facilitate uses outlined or as required by law.
  • Credit information used solely for processing transactions, maintained by reputable databases.
  1. Credit information that you and credit authorizers provide when you make payments by credit card for products, dues or other services via Internet Member Services will only be used to process the transactions you request. This information will be provided to and maintained by reputable credit reporting databases, but will never be sold, shared or provided to other third parties except as necessary to process or facilitate an authorized transaction.
  2. Security Measures: Reasonable security procedures in place, but no internet transmission is completely secure.
  3. Cookies:

We use cookies to collect data regarding visits to and use of our website and other systems/portals. By refusing to accept cookies, you may be able to limit our access to certain information we might otherwise obtain based upon your use of our website and other systems/portals. Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a feature in some web browsers by which users can request that online services, including website providers and online advertisers, do not track the user’s web browsing activities. Our Website does not currently respond to DNT requests transmitted by web browsers.

  • By using our services or website, you agree to this policy.
  • This policy may be updated and/or modified periodically by West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS®. You should regularly check for updates and by using this website or our services you agree to be bound by any such updates without express notice.

  • Members can opt-out of the directory and communications via "My Account" or by contacting membership@wsgvar.com.
  • Non-members can opt-out of communications by contacting membership@wsgvar.com.
