C.A.R. Honorary Member for Life
REQUIREMENTS FOR C.A.R. HONORARY MEMBER FOR LIFE STATUS
Becoming an honorary-member-for-life is a prestigious membership distinction. For members who are eligible and approved, their State Association dues shall be deemed paid-in-full for life! In order to qualify, the applicant must be:
- An active C.A.R. member for a minimum of 25 years
- At least 75 years of age at the time of submission

WSGVR Honorary Member for Life
When a member receives the “C.A.R. Honorary Member For Life” designation, the
West San Gabriel Valley REALTORS® "Association" will also recognize the member as an "Honorary Member For Life” of the Association and the Board of Directors will waive local Association dues for life. The member will still be responsible for NAR dues unless he or she applies for the NAR Emeritus Status.

REALTOR® Emeritus Status
Eligibility
The REALTOR® Emeritus status eligibility requirements are:
- Forty (40) years of REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® (or both) membership.
- Proof of one (1) year of service* at the National Association level.
* "Service" is defined as serving as an NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
