Get a Real Estate License
Step 1. Take Pre-License Real Estate Classes
Enroll in and complete the required pre-licensing courses. The number of hours needed can vary by state. These courses cover topics such as real estate principles, practices, and legal aspects, etc.
Step 2. Prepare for Your Real Estate License Exam
After completing your coursework, you must pass a pre-licensing exam. This exam tests your knowledge of real estate principles and laws.
Step 3. Take Real Estate Exam
Before conducting real estate transactions, you must have a California Real Estate License. You must score at least a 70% on the exam to pass the real estate license exam.
