In this role, Albert Tran works closely with staff to implement the West San Gabriel Valley REALTOR® (WSGVR) Board of Directors’ visions.
Albert has obtained five NAR designations and certifications: REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), e-PRO®, GREEN, and At Home with Diversity® (AHWD). He is NAR Instructor to teach e-PRO®, AHWD®, Real Estate Safety Matters, Real Estate Investing courses, and Global Programs for Associations.
Prior to joining WSGVR, Albert worked as a Director of Training and Technology Services for the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) from 1999 to 2010. During that time, he worked together with the local Associations to promote the zipForm® electronic forms software and Education courses throughout the state of California.
Before joining C.A.R., Albert worked as an Information Technology Consultant for California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) from 1996 to 1999. He modernized the University Library with state-of-the-art computer systems and developed the-first-and-foremost University Library Intranet used by the faculty and staff in 1997.
Between 1997 and 2002, he served as an adjunct professor in the Computer Science Department at the California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and Continuing Education Department at CSULA. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from CSULA, an M.S. degree in Computer Science from CSULB, and an MBA degree from Colorado State University.
Albert has volunteered for a variety of the Association Executive Committees at the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) since 2012.
Albert and his family live in Southern California.
